The Department is running two out-patient units, one at Veterinary Hospital, Mannuthy and another at University Veterinary Hospital, Kokkalai, round the year, including holidays. Apart from OP units, Operation Theatre, Radiology and Physiotherapy Units are functioned at both the hospitals by the staff of the Surgery Department. Endoscopy and Laparoscopy units are also made functional at VH, Mannuthy. General, Orthopaedic, Ophthalmic, obstetrical and gynecological and dental surgeries in both large and small animals are performed at both the places with good anaesthetic and patient monitoring facilities.
