The department offers handling infertility in farm and pet animals, obstetric cases and artificial insemination services. The clinical services are provided by means of a Gynaecology and Obstetric unit at the Mannuthy and Kokkalai Veterinary Hospitals run by the University. Artificial Insemination Centres located at Mannuthy and Kokkalai premises, serves to the needs of cattle, buffalo and goat rearers. An ambulatory clinical service tending to the needs of Cherumkuzhy and Malamukku farmers is manned by the department staff.
The department runs a Mobile sexual health control unit, a mobile unit catering to clinical and breeding services at the farmer’s doorstep in the area surrounding the college.
