Waste Wealth Program - A low cost Quail cage creates interest in the public

A low cost Quail cage designed by Dr.M.O Kurian with the help of students has evoked interest among public during Haritholsavam 2011. This cage is exhibited in the KVASU stall which was designed using waste materials like cycle wheels and plastic materials. It can house 18 adult quails.The cage was named as Kurian's Cage. KVASU is trying to standardize this cage for homestead quail production.
