Management training programme for KVASU faculty started at IIM, Kozhikkode

Management Development programme for the faculty members of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University was held at Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikkode from 9th-11th August 2011. Professor Debashis Chatterjee, Director, IIMK inaugurated the three days training programme for the first batch of 30 faculty members. In the opening remarks Prof Chatterjee suggested that a cup of milk can make the baby sleep whereas an unskilled teacher can make the future generation to sleep! He emphasised the importance of ideal learning and teaching situations.Director of Entrepreneurship Dr.S.Ramkumar presided over the function and explained the outcomes expected from this training. He mentioned that KVASU was looking ahead for a visible performance based development. Professor Saji Gopinath of IIMK welcomed the gathering.
