Training on commodity interest group for dairy farmers begins at Kunnamkulam

                   The training for the commodity interest group on diary organized from 4th Novemeber to 9th November, 2013 by the Directorate of Entrepreneurship KVASU and Dairy development Department for the farmers of Chowannur Block Panchayat started at P.W.D rest house Kunnamkulam today. The training will be formally inaugurated on 5th November,203 by Sri.C.C.Sreekumar, Jilla Panchayat President, Thrissur District at 11 A.M. The Blok panchayat President, Smt.Padmam Venugopal will preside the gathering. The Director, Entrepreneurship, Prof.S.Ramkumar will deliver the keynote address. The six days intensive training is intended for developing entrepreneurship among the CIG with capacity building on breeding, feeding, management, entrepreneurship, milk production, value addition, product diversification, , marketing, market linkage, budgeting and accounting, food safety aspects, disease control aspects etc. The classes were handled by the faculty of KVASU, officers of AHD, Dairy Development Department and other experts.
                This State wide training would be 8th training in the series of 20, conducted by the Directorate of Entrepreneurship on commodity interest group.Earlier, this kind of training have been conducted at Kottayam District on broiler and layers ,Wayanad District on goat (2 trainings) and Dairy, Thrissur District on rabbit and at Palakkad District on Goat says coordinator for this training Dr.Deepa Ananth
