Microsoft’s Business Summit lauded KVASU’s e Initiatives

                     Microsoft’s Summit on Future Unleashed business partnership held at Mumbai Convention centre identified Kerala Veterinary and animal Sciences University’s Enterprise resource planning projects as model for global education institutions. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella delivered the keynote address during the summit. In the era where digital technology is acquiring momentum across the globe, intelligent cloud is emerging as the future technology. It integrates analytics, big data and internet of things. Intelligent cloud has lot of applications in industry, retail, health, energy, media and entertainment.
                  Vice Chancellor of KVASU Dr.B.Ashok presented the paper on Enterprise resource planning including Interuniversity management System. Vice Chancellor explained that advisory call centre and emergency Veterinary Care system of University namely e Vetconnect and related domains. The impact of e governance and its outcome will pave way for increasing efficiency in administration and process, VC added. Intelligent Cloud leverages predictive analytics, Machine learning and wearable technologies helping better consumer experience. Cloud based services are emerging areas of technologies which are having umpteen opportunities in the world where connectivity is acquiring momentum across the world. Mobile, social, analytical and cloud will facilitate education in a big way. Ashok added. Director of Entrepreneurship Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan participated in the two day summit organized by Microsoft at Mumbai from 5th to 6th November 2015.
