Contribute towards KVASU-Chennai help Programme

                   Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University is planning to help the flood affected victims of Chennai by distributing immediate essentials like drinking water, juices, and ready to eat non perishable materials like Biscuits, Rusk, etc. It will be collected from all the campuses of KVASU including research stations. Dr. B. Sunil, Professor, Department of Public Health, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy and Dr.N.Divakaran Nair, Director, Students Welfare, KVASU will be the nodal officers for the KVASU-Chennai help programme. All the officers, faculty, staff, NSS Volunteers, students and labourers are requested to contribute in kind towards this humanitarian venture.

In order to procure the contributions, three collection centres will be opened under Directorate of Entrepreneurship based at Trivandrum, Mannuthy (Thrissur) and Pookode (Wayanad). Each centre will be manned by a centre co-ordinator.

Contributions in the form of essentials like drinking water, juices, and ready to eat non perishable materials like Biscuits, Rusk, etc will be collected from all the three collection centres based at Trivandrum CLPRI, DoE, Mannuthy and Pookode from 7^th December 2015 Monday 9 AM to 4 PM. It will be send to Chennai from Trivandrum, Thrissur and Kozhikode by truck in association with Mathrubhumi on Monday evening by 6 PM. So all are requested to contribute towards this venture. Deans, Special officers, Associate Deans and Unit heads of respective campuses are requested to mobilise the faculty, staff, NSS Volunteers, students and labourers for the procurement. If the contributions are received as cash kindly convert this in to drinking water, juices, and ready to eat non perishable materials like Biscuits, Rusk, etc after discussing with the nodal officer and hand it over to the respective collection centres.

All are requested to submit their items latest by Monday 7^th November 2015 by 4PM.
