19Additional Skill acquisition programme will narrow the skill gap and promote employment in the State, Says Education Minister of Kerala Sri.Abdu Rabb. Hon'ble Minister made this statement while inaugurating tehe National Workshop on Skill Enterprise Engagement for Empowering Kerala-SEEK-15 held at Hotel TAj Vivanta, Trivandrum from 16th to 17th December 2015.It was organised by Additional Skill Acquisition programme-ASAP the joint initiative of General and Higher education Departments.Experts from Govt, Academia and industry participated in the event. Directorate of Entrepreneurship of KVASU associated with SEEK-15. Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan, Chairman Agriculture Business Advisory Committee of ASAP participted in the panel discussions on Entrepreneurship-Role of MSME and Quality assessment and Skill development programmes and Training.KVASU officials discussed with Agriculture Sector Skill Council of India on collaborating at the National level on Skill Development and it has been decided to sign an MOU by the end of 2015.
