12 In order to streamline the pension distribution of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, an adalat to solve the pending objections in the pension files of labourers, administrative staff, farm staff and scientific staff retired from Kerala Veterinary And Animal Sciences University was held on 11.02.2016 at 10.30 AM at KVASU Head Quarters, Pookode, Wayanad. The programme was inaugurated by the Registrar, Dr. Joseph Mathew and presided by the Finance Officer, Dr. K.M. Syam Mohan. Dean, Veterinary College, Pookode felicitated.
Seminars on “Management of Pension files” was delivered by Sri. K.K. Sasidharan, Joint Director, Kerala State Audit Department and “National Pension System” by Sri. P. Sreekumar, Assistant Finance Officer. Sri. K.Rajendran, Joint Finance Officer proposed vote of thanks.
Later on more than 25 files of the pensioners were scrutinised by the Kerala State Audit Department, Finance Wing of KVASU and Unit heads together and pensions fixed in most cases. Through this process the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University plans to provide pension for all the retired employees on the every month of retirement.
