A three days training on Laboratory Animal Models and Biomethodology was organised by the Department of Veterinary Pharmcology & Toxicology, CVAS, Mannuthy from 17th to 19thMarch, 2016. The training was inaugurated by Dr. Sisilamma George, Dean, CVAS, Mannuthy. In her inaugural address, she emphasized the need of animal research and the importance of trainings in the sector. The training included theory and hands on session of various handling procedures and biomethodology of laboratory animals. The valedictory function of the training programme was chaired by Dr. T.P.Sethumadhavan, Director of Entrepreneurship, KVASU who pointed out the upcoming role of KVASU in the laboratory animals sector and distributed the certificates to the trainees.
