24A camp on Diagnosis and treatment of Opthalmic diorders for pet animals was conducted at University Veterinary Hospital, Mannuthy conducted under the joint auspices of Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, CVAS, Mannuthy and University Veterinary Hospital, Mannuthy on 22nd March 2016. The camp was organised to bring in awareness among animal owners on timely attention of symptoms of eye diseases and appropriate treatment to be followed for recovery to normalcy. Dr Sisilamma George, Dean, CVAS, Mannuthy inaugurated the camp. Dr. C.B.Devanand, Dr. S. Ajith kumar, Dr.K.N. Aravinda Ghosh, Dr.P.V.Treesamol, Dr K.D.John Martin, Dr. S.Anoop, Dr. Sudheesh.S.Nair and residents and Postgraduate students of department of Surgery and Radiology were present on the occasion. All the preregistered dogs were screened with a battery of ophthalmic examinations including STT, florescent dye test, applanation tonometry, and slit lamp biomicroscopy and followed by appropriate treatments specific to each eye disorders.
