04Three months training programme for the Assistant Directors of Animal Husbandry Department begins from 4th July 2016 at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Academic Staff College of KVASU is organising this training programme with the support of Animal Husbandry department. This is the obligatory training programme for the officers of Animal husbandry department to become Deputy Directors. The training includes different sessions on advances in Veterinary science, diagnosis, disease control, production, management and knowledge transfer. More over the training includes different sessions like Kerala Service Rules relevant to higher officials, Store purchase rules, Quotations and Tender, Legal issues and Court Procedures, Vigilance enquiry, Rewards and punishments in Government system, Right for Information and Right to service Act, Financial code and treasury transactions (financial propriety &budget), Interpersonal relationship HR management (includes conduct of meeting, and writing minutes, conducting interviews), changing trends in marketing, entrepreneurship, one health and Veterinary public health. Three months training programme will be held across the state which includes KVASU Mannuthy and Pookode campuses, Kerala Institute of Local Administration, Institute of Management in Government and State Agriculture and Management training institute.
Dean, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy Dr.Sisilamma George inaugurated the programme on 4th July 2016. Director of Entrepreneurship Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan presided over the function. Director, International Co-operation and initiatives Dr.K.P.Sreekumar released the compendium. Director, Academic Staff College Dr.B.Sunil welcomed the gathering and Dr.Deepa Ananth, Asst Professor expressed vote of thanks. 20 Asst Directors are attending the traing programme.
