Professor (Dr)N.Vijayan retired from service due to superannuation

                          Professor (Dr) N.Vijayan, Professor & Head, Department of Veterinary Pathology, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy retired from service as a sequele to superannuation on 31st October 2016. He was born  at Mavellikkaraon 01-11-1956, brought up at Tripunithura and settled at Mannuthy, Thrissur.Date of joining the service-20-12-1979
1.Served Remount and Veterinary Corps, of Indian Army at Central Military Veterinary Laboratory (CMVL),Meerut and field service at Nagaland and J&K.
Worked at  AICRP on Poultry, ICAR Network project on goats,  Scientific Officer,Office of the Pro Vice Chancellor,KAU and  Department of Veterinary Pathology,CV&AS,Mannuthy and Pookote
Accomplishments
a.Standardized the Exfoliative cytological techniques in the diagnosis of ethmoid carcinoma-is widely being used in the field
b.Establishment of Rabies diagnosis cell –Both at CV & AS,Mannuthy and Pookote by introduction of dFAT
c. Expert member of ADCP appointed by Govt. of Kerala
