Students need to work for a meaningful goal to succeed in their career life; Says Anil. X, Vice Chancellor, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. Vice Chancellor made this statement while inaugurating the orientation cum personal enhancement programme for the first year under graduate students of the University at Dream City Auditorium, Pattikkad on 7th December 2016.. In the fast moving World, knowledge is emerging as wealth. Planning, Commitment, interest and efforts are required for achieving the envisaged goals; VC added. While delivering the keynote address, District Collector Dr.Kowsikan suggested that environment, effort and direction will decide the success of a student. 4-5 years of effort will pave way for fruitful results of more than five decades in life. College education is a launch pad for success. Never underestimate and always think big. Potentials of a student can be fully exploited based on environment, effort and direction. Time management, respecting the elders and teachers with focussed education and thinking will pave way for achieving the goals. Collector added.
Registrar Dr.Joseph Mathew presided over the function. Director of Academics & Research Dr.K.Devada, Director of Entrepreneurship Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan and Dr.Sabin George offered felicitations. Director of Students Welfare Dr.N.Divakaran Nair welcomed the students and Director of Academic Staff College Dr.B.Sunil expressed vote of thanks. Directors, Deans and Special officers of the University presented their institutional activities and achievement. Three day orientation programme will focus personality development, motivational skills, Career development, building leadership skills and education and career.Kalamandalam artist performed Jugalbandhi dance programme.
