20‘Not me but you’; With this motto, the seven day NSS Special Camp ‘Amrutham’ began on February 18, 2017, Saturday at Thumboormuzhy, with the combined efforts of NSS Unit, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, College of Food Technology, Thumboormuzhy, Cattle Breeding Station, Thumboormuzhy and Pariyaram Grama Panchayath. The function was presided over by Dr. Joseph Mathew, Registrar, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University and was inaugurated by Smt. Sini. P.G, District Panchayath Member, Pariyaram. Dr. Sabin George (Member, Board of Management, KVASU), Dr. K. Shyam Mohan (Finance Officer, KVASU) and Sri. Shyam. P.S. (Ward Member, Pariyaram Grama Panchayath) offered felicitations in the function. The camp, with 54 NSS volunteers under the leadership of Dr. C. Latha, NSS Programme Officer, seeks to address the pressing issue of water scarcity and the need to preserve it, and will come to an end on February 24, 2017, Friday.
