SAYONARA- THE FAREWELL TO 2007 BATCH B.TECH STUDENTS AND LAUNCHING OF CDST PTA WEBSITE HELD @MANNUTHY
‘College of Dairy Science and Technology Parent Teacher Association has launched the website www.cdstpta.com catering to the information as well as academic requirements of stakeholders of this institution. The official launch of the website was done at a function arranged at the University Dairy Plant auditorium on 04.01.2012 at 2.30 P.M. The launching ceremony was followed by ‘Sayonara’-the farewell to 2007 B.Tech students and the valedictory function of Students’ Union-2010-11. Dr. R. Rajendrakumar, Dean CDST presided over the function. Dr. P.I. Geevarghese, Secretary CDST PTA introduced the website. Website was officially launched by Dr. Mohankumar, Associate Dean, College of Forestry Vellanikkara. Dr. H. Subramanian, Dean COVAS Mannuthy inaugurated ‘Sayonara-the farewell to 2007 batch B.Tech students’ and delivered a speech felicitating all the passing out students. An introduction of the 2007 batch students was done by Dr. P. Sudheerbabu, Associate Professor and Staff Advisor. Sri Anoop P.A., General Secretary Students’ Union 2010-2011 presented a report of the Union activities for the period 2009-2011. Dr. S.Ramkumar, Director of Entrepreneurship KVASU inaugurated the valedictory function of Students’ Union 2010-11. Sri. Sasikumar Palliyil, President CDST PTA and Dr. Mukundan Former HOD - Dept. of Dairy Science COVAS Mannuthy offered felicitations. Dr. C.T. Sathian, Head, Dairy Plant welcomed the gathering and Ms. Sheba Sugathan, President Students Union expressed vote of thanks. Cultural programmes of CDST students were also held after the meeting.
