Blood Donation Camp@ CDST, Mannuthy
Every blood donor is a hero.
NSS CDST Unit and SFI Dairy Unit in association with Kerala State Blood Transfusion Council, Govt.Medical College Thrissur organized a blood donation camp on 29 January 2019, at VKIDFT, Mannuthy. The programme started by 9.30 am, when Dr. Sudheer Babu P., Dean, opened the camp by donating his blood. The programme was appreciated for punctuality, cleanliness, hospitality, attitude of volunteers and the well planned arrangement of the event. A total of 123 willing hands came out for donating blood from which 78 were accepted, considering the female predominance. Co-operation and involvement of the Dean, Teaching staff and other staff acted as a motivation to the students. Students from CDST Mannuthy, CFT Thumboormuzhy and CVAS Mannuthy took part in the camp. Participation of girls brought about special words of appreciation. Indeed this event opened a new chapter of service and care for the students of CDST Mannuthy.
