Inauguration of open air class room at CVAS, Mannuthy
A unique and natural model of class room without the conventional closed walls is materialised at Mannuthy Veterinary College campus. A small class room facility with forty seats made of natural materials was inaugurated by the Registrar Dr Joseph Mathew on 01.04.2019. Dr C. Latha, Dean, CVAS Mannuthy presided over the function. Dr N. Ashok (DAR), Dr M. O. Kurien, T. V. Aravindakshan, Dr K. A. Bindu, Dr K. S. Anil, other faculty and students attended this small but beautiful function.
Dr C. Latha took the initiative for this concept of an open air class room facility for meetings, discussions and chit chat for staff and students. This cost effective and natural setting was fabricated using a fallen giant rain tree trunk, under the cool shade of Copper pod trees in front of the college. In the function, Registrar urged staff and students for similar concepts at other parts of the campus and also highlighted the importance of clean and green campus
