K.Jayakumar IAS, Chief Secretary and Vice Chancellor of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University . Vice Chancellor was delivering inaugural address during the inauguration of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University training programme for the year 2012-2013 on16th April 2012. Three months Training programme for Assistant Directors of Animal Husbandry Department, ASCAD Training programme for the Veterinarians of Animal Husbandry Department and Hands on training in the Preparation of milk products are the major training programmes scheduled for the month of April 2012.
Inaugural function of Three months Training programme for the Assistant Directors of Animal Husbandry Department was held at Seminar Hall, CVAS, KVASU Mannuthy Campus on 16th April 2012 at 10.30 AM. Chief Secretary & Vice Chancellor, KVASU Sri. K.Jayakumar IAS inaugurated the function. Vice Chancellor released the Compendium published in connection with the Three Months Training programme for Assistant Directors of Animal Husbandry Department and Academic Hand Book of the University. Registrar Dr.C.B.Manomohan presided over the function. Director of Academics and Research Dr.A.Jalaludeen,Dean i/c CVAS, Mannuthy Dr.Philomona and District Animal Husbandry Officer, Thrissur Dr. V. Rajan offered felicitations. Director of Entrepreneurship Dr. S.Ramkumar welcomed the gathering and Co-ordinator Dr.N.Divakaran Nair expressed vote of thanks. Orientation programme was held after the inagural session. Dr.S.Ramkumar took a session on Relevance of the training programme in the current scenario. 20 officers are attending the training programme.
