World Veterinary day celebrated at Pookode

               College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences of KVASU, Pookode Campus celebrated the World Veterinary Day 2012” on 28th April 2012. Paper and poster presentations were organised on Antimicrobial resistance, the theme selected for the World Veterinary Day 2012. Dr.P.C.Alex, Dean, CVAS, Pookode presided over the function. Dr. A. Jalaludeen, Director Academics & Research, KVASU inaugurated the function and delivered key note address. Dr. P. Girish Kumar, Secretary, IVA Pookode chapter and Dr.Sajith Purushothaman, IVA, State Executive member addressed the gathering.
                       The first and second prize winners of paper and poster presentations were Reshma R. & Roshnath R, Vishnu V, Shijina Raj M.R & Roshnath R respectively. All the winners were honoured with trophies and certificates of appreciation. All the participants were given the certificate of merit for participation. 200 students including faculty members attended the programme.
