KVASU's Publications released

            Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University's recent Malayalam publications were released during the Management council meeting held on 30th June 2012 at Pookode campus in presence of Managing council members of the University. They include books on:

1. 'Mrigasamrakshanam-Uthpadhanavardhanavinu Arivinte edukal'
2. Second edition of Muttakkozhikal-Muttathum Mattuppavilumand'
3. VeterinaryUniversity- Vijnanavyapanavum Thozhil Samrabhakathwavum.

These books intended for farmers were published by Directorate of Entrepreneurshipof the University. Sri. M.I.Shanavas M.P. released the second edition of the book on 'Muttakkozhikal-Muttathum Mattuppavilum' and Sri. Sreyams Kumar MLA released the book on 'Mrigasamrakshanam-Uthpadhanavardhanavinu Arivinte edukal'. Vice Chancellor Sri. K.Jayakumar IAS released the booklet on 'Veterinary University- Vijnanavyapanavum Thozhil Samrabhakathwavum'

Mrigasamrakshanam-Uthpadhanavardhanavinu Arivinte edukal

This Book is the compilation of articles written by faculty members of the KVASU which is oriented towards productivity enhauncement in livestock production. This book assumes more significance while food security issues are emerging in the country. articles include breeding, feeding, management, disease control, marketing, institutional services, etc.It is moderately priced @Rs 60 per copy.

 

 

 

'Muttakkozhikal-Muttathum Mattuppavilum' Second Edition

This book on layers written by Dr.Peethambaran, Dr.Anitha and Dr.Ajith Babu explain different Poultry breeds available with the KVASUs Poultry farms, feeding and management practices with special emphasis to Aiswarya Poultry Project, the most popular programme of the University.Enormous response from the farming community and public from within the country and abroad motivated the Directorate of Entrepreneurship to publish the second edition with required editing. This book printed in multicolour is priced @ Rs 100 per copy.

 

 

'Veterinary University- Vijnanavyapanavum Thozhil Samrabhakathwavum

This booklet with 24 pages will explain the activities of Directorate of Entrepreneurship, Institutions coming under the University, Services available for farmers, entrepreneurs and public, etc.This is oriented towards giving bird eye view of the acivities of the Univeristy. Moreover it is a free publication available for visitors, farmers, entrepreures,etc.
