QUOTATION

               Sealed Quotations are invited for supply of Fermentor for BRNS funded project at Department of Animal Nutrition, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode Campus. The quotation should reach the undersigned on or before 2 pm, 29th January,2013. The invited quotations will be opened at Chamber of Assistant Professor and Head I/c at 2.15 pm on 29th January, 2013.The rate quoted should be all inclusive of taxes and freight charges. The rates of important consumable and accessories also should be quoted. The supplier should posses dealership certificate for imported item/propriety items if any. The invoice should be prepared and submitted in triplicate along with the material in favor of Principal Investigator, BRNS Project, Department of Animal Nutrition, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode. The material should be supplied within 30 working days time once firm Supply order is received from the competent authority in this regard. The Payment will be released after receiving the equipment at our site and installation.
Technical Specifications of Fermentor
Total volume: 3 Litre Autoclavable fermentor with dished bottom borosilicate glass, safety stand and ring. Stirrer with Lip seal -assembly with height adjustable Impellers-2no, 3-baffles, L-type air sparger, heating finger, U-tube heat exchanger for cold water circulation, air out pipe with 0.2micron filter, sampling tube, septum holder for inoculation, thermo pocket.
All material in contact with culture should be SS316L.
PMDC motor with spring coupling to avoid vibration and noise with rpm indication and control range 50-700rpm.
Temperature control: PID temp control with digital display of SV & PV.
pH control with digital display
Rotameter 0.5- 5lit/min with Air pump.
Silicon tubings , air in and out.
