20The 6th International Vedic Workshop will be held at Kozhikode from 7th to 10th january 2014. This is hosting in India for the first time. Previous five workshops were held at Harvard University, USA, Kyoto University, Japan, Leiden University, The Netherlands, University of Texas, USA and Centre for Eurasiatic and AfroasiaticStudies, Bucharest, Romania. The workshop will focus on the Vedic texts, rituals, Vedic traditions of India and west. Researchers andd students can present papers, case studies and research findings in the Workshop. Participants comprise Sanskrit and Veda Researchers from US, Europe, Japan and other parts of the World. Demonstration of Veda Chanting adds value to the theoretical deliberations in the workshop. Visit to the villages of promonent Veda Teachers and reciters, highlighting the unique tradition of Veda recitation and preservation of the veda culture have already been incuded in the Workshop under Memory of World Register by UNESCO.
