Sub: - KVASU - Elections to the Management and Academic Councils - Electoral Rolls - Published - Regarding

The University has, as you are aware, initiated the process of conducting the first elections to its Management and Academic Councils in order to ensure representation of elected members in the Councils as envisaged in the Act and the first statute of the University, and is pleased to publish the electoral rolls of various categories of electorates as specified here under:

1. Electoral Roll of Students for the Management Council
2. Electoral Roll of Teachers for the Management Council
3. Electoral Roll of Non- teaching for the Management Council
4. Electoral Roll of Permanent Labourers for the Management Council
5. Electoral Roll of Teachers for the Academic Council
6. Electoral Roll of Students for the Academic Council

The electoral rolls are available at the office of the Registrar &Returning Officer, Registry, KVASU, Pookode and on the University website: www.kvasu.ac.in. The eligible electors are requested to go through the electoral rolls and confirm that their names are included in the rolls concerned. Requests for inclusion or corrections if any may be made available to the office of the Registrar & Returning officer, KVASU, Pookode duly recommended by the Deans/ Heads of Stations/ Offices/ Units concerned on or before 18/08/2014. It may be noted that the rolls are prepared taking the positional status as on 02/06/2014 and hence requests for inclusion based on subsequent positional status will not be considered. Those who have been transferred to other constituent units of the KVASU after 02/06/14 will be allowed to cast their votes at the polling stations at or near the units they are working at the time of the conduct of the poll. Hence they need not request for inclusion in the electoral rolls of the new units.
