22Kerala Veterinary Sciences University launched video conferencing System across the campuses and research institutions in the State. This was made possible through the funds allocated under RIDF of NABARD for the Distance learning Centre of Directorate of Entrepreneurship. Vice Chancellor Dr.B.Ashok IAS inaugurated the programme at KVASU, Head Quartets Pookode. Director of Entrepreneurship Dr.S.Ramkumar launched the System at CLPR, Trivandrum and Dr.P.C.Alex, Professor and Head, Clinical Medicine Department, CVAS, Mannuthy at Mannuthy Campus respectively. The proposed VC System has two class rooms with video conferencing facilities at Pookode and Mannuthy Campuses, Central Studio hub for Distance learning broadcast/Podcast and three VC facilities at KVASU Head Quarters, Pookode, College of Poultry Sciences, Thiruvazhamkunnu and CLPR, Trivandrum respectively. Keltron with techncal support from Expedian established VC System across KVASU Campuses in the State. This will pave the way for communication, knowledge dissemination and shared class room facilities at a faster pace. KVASU is the first University in the State having fully established Video Conferencing System. Sunny Thomas, Dean Dr.P.C.Saseendran, Faculty members and Staff members attended the inaugural Session.
