M.P made this statement during the inauguration of the office of Centre for Animal adaptation to environmental and climate change studies (CAADECCS) at KVASU Mannuthy Campus on 13th October 2014.Centre for Animal adaptation to environmental and climate change studies (CAADECCS) organised this programme with the support of Department of Veterinary Physiology and Society of Animal Physiologists of India(SAPI). Vice Chancellor Dr.B.Ashok presided over the function. Vice Chancellor suggested that energy and waste management are some of the key areas of research and commercialisation in the country. Registrar Dr.Joseph Mathew inaugurated the South Zone SAPI Quiz programme. Director of Entrepreneurship Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan released the Fundamentals of Livestock Meteorology Volume-3. Director(Academics& Research) Dr.K.Devada released the CAADECCS report and Dean, CVAS, Mannuthy Dr.Sisiliamma George released the Annual Weather data report. Dean, CDST Dr.G.Girish Varma welcomed the delegates and awarded honorary membership of society of Animal Meteorologists to Dr.B.Ashok. District Animal Husbandry Officer Dr.N.R.Harshakumar offered felicitations. A technical session on climate change and animal agriculture was held at Seminar Hall, CVAS, Mannuthy. Dr.A.Prasad expressed vote of thanks.
