22In the era where holistic therapy and organic farming is acquiring momentum in the country Ethno pharmacology is emerging as one of the potential areas of research, Says Dr.P.K.Warier, Managing Trustee of Kottakkal Arya Vaidyasala. Dr. Warier made this during the launching of Post Graduate Diploma in Ethno pharmacology (PGDEP) of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University through video conferencing System. University is launching this programme in collaboration with Vaidyaratnam P S Warier Ayurveda College and Kottakkal Arya vaidyasala from the current academic year under the technology enabled distance mode of learning. Principal of Kottakkal Ayurveda College Dr.Easwara Sarma lighted the lamp on 20th October 2014 at 11 am in the Seminar Hall of the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy.Vice Chancellor Dr.B.Ashok presided over the function. Director (Entrepreneurship) Dr.T.P.Sethumadhavan released the course material. Registrar Dr.Joseph Mathew, Director (Academics& Research) Dr.K.Devada, Director, KASRS Sri.Hari and Fulbright fellow Dr.C.Venugopal offered felicitations.
