The Centre spearheads the wildlife mission of the University, attracting students and experts from different parts of India as well as abroad. Moreover to cater the wildlife education and research requirements, the wildlife rescue, veterinary care and rehabilitation activities of the University in close collaboration with the Kerala State Forest Department also needs special mention.
